In-office whitening with ZOOM!
One of the most popular tooth whitening treatments on the market is ZOOM!, which we are proud to offer at Burloak Centre Dentistry. This highly effective system whitens your teeth up to eight shades in less than an hour – results that over-the-counter whitening treatments simply cannot compare to. For your ZOOM! whitening treatment, we perform the following steps:
- First, we protect your gums and soft tissues from the whitening gel by pulling your lips away from your teeth and covering your gums
- Then, we carefully apply the ZOOM! whitening gel to your teeth and use a special light on them for 15 minutes that activates the whitening process
- We remove the gel and reapply a new coat, repeating the above process two more times (for a total of three rounds)
When your treatment is complete, you are free to resume your normal daily activities – with your dazzling smile!
Take-home treatment
Some patients prefer a more gradual approach to whitening that can be done at their leisure at home. We offer both the DayWhite and NiteWhite products from ZOOM!, which use custom-made trays and a professional-grade whitening gel to whiten your teeth at home over the course of a couple of weeks. This can be a great option for patients who have sensitive teeth.
