Invisible orthodontic treatment with Invisalign®
At Burloak Centre Dentistry, we help patients achieve stunning smiles discreetly with Invisalign treatment – in fact, we were named an Invisalign 2020 Preferred Provider! Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners that gradually straighten your teeth, one tooth a time. The aligners are worn for at least 22 hours per day and are switched out every two weeks until your ideal smile is achieved. This method of tooth straightening is:

- Designed for comfort with durable, BPA-free plastic aligners and no brackets or wires
- Fully removable so you can continue to enjoy your favorite foods and properly clean your teeth during treatment
- Effective, with results in an average of just 12 months
- Versatile and can be used to treat a variety of misalignment issues, such as crooked teeth, gaps, overcrowding, overbites, underbites, and open bites
Both teens and adults can benefit from Invisalign treatment; however, it is not the best option for more severe cases of misalignment or bite problems. In these cases, traditional orthodontics are the better choice.
Traditional orthodontics
Traditional braces have been used for many decades to straighten teeth and properly align the bite, but that doesn’t mean we still use the same braces technologies that were used long ago. Modern braces wires are made from thermal reactive wires that are stronger and lighter, making them more comfortable and less likely to break, and brackets can be made from tooth-colored ceramic to blend in with your smile. Other types of orthodontics treatments are also available to help adjust the size, shape, or alignment of the dental arch and jaw and may be used in conjunction with braces.
