Burloak Centre Dentistry offers a full range of family dental services, including dentures. These are custom designed by our in-house denturist, for a natural appearance and optimal functionality.
Denture options
There are multiple styles of dentures available:
- Partials – A partial denture replaces multiple teeth, but not the full arch. It is removable for eating and oral hygiene. When in place, a partial is secured by other teeth. Some styles are semi-flexible, allowing them to “snap” in place. Others are fitted with clasps, which connect to supporting teeth.
- Full denture – If you have complete tooth loss in either arch, a removable full denture can restore your smile quickly. Our denturist designs a complete set of natural looking false teeth, which are set in base that looks like gums. It fits snugly and comfortably against your gums and the roof of your mouth.
- Implant supported dentures – A denture, or virtually any other type of restoration, can be supported by implants. This option provides the strength and stability comparable to natural teeth. Implants also help prevent bone resorption in the jaw.
